Smart Arranger

This disclosure discusses a system for travel arrangers to manage trip bookings for travelers in a new way. Travel arrangers are people booking business trips for other travelers. It can be an assistant booking a trip for a corporate executive, an employee booking a trip for a colleague or an external guest, a human resources employee booking trips for interviewees, etc. The idea is to replace the 'book for someone else' usual process by a semi-automated solution which allows travel arrangers to set policy rules and/or pre-select options that are then used by travelers to book their own trips using the corporate self-booking tool. This new solution hence reduces the time-consuming back and forth exchanges, the sharing of private information, the risk of errors and improves the convenience both for the arranger and the traveler.
