Natural Disaster Reference Database

According to the About this Database information, the Natural Disaster Reference Database (NDRD) is a "bibliographic database on research, programs, and results which relate to the use of satellite remote sensing for disaster mitigation … This database focuses on the nexus of hazards and satellite remote sensing as well as models and process studies through which these can be brought together". The information in the database comes from 565 documents published from 1981 through January 2000. Major database sources include NASA RECON and ISI Current Contents. Though no longer updated, the NDRD remains online as a legacy web site of the Earth-Sun Exploration Division, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center.
