Travejargon.org is an A-Z list of nearly 11,000 terms, acronyms, and expressions for business and leisure travel. Topics covered include air travel, associations, car hire, catering, conference and meetings, cruising, currency, event management, hotels, rail travel and tourism. The site was launched as recently as May 2009 and is editedrnand maintained by the Travel Intelligence Network, a UK-based consultancy and research firm. The resource is, in its own words, aimed at "industry newbie's, students, corporates, procurement professionals, suppliers and intermediaries". Despite this claim, Traveljargon.org definitely leans more towards services to commercial industry professionals than academia.
