Whilst it is true to say that records management principles and associated disciplines are transferable across most organisations there are a number of unique challenges within the global financial services sector. Consequently, I was pleased to hear that a book, dedicated to this sector, was being published. The book has been edited by a team of people who have first hand experience of the academic, legal and practical challenges of records management within the global financial services sector. Their collective experience has resulted in the publication of a book which gives appropriate advice and guidance in dealing with strategic, legal and operational matters.
