Flooding brings more delays in Island Line reopening plan

A DATE for the reopeningof the Island Line on the Isle of Wight has still not been confirmed - more than nine months after the line was closed for upgrading works in preparation for the introduction of a new train fleet. The line was closed in January for what was originally expected to be a three-month period while a number of infrastructure improvements were carried out on the route.
