The latest Solent Railwayana Auction was held on June 19 at the Community Centre, Wickham, Hants. There was not a lot on offer but Camelot from BR Standard '5MT attracted ￡7,500 while just one diesel nameplate was sold, with 60079 Foinaven commanding only ￡750 - a sure sign that modem traction nameplates are not as highly sought as before the recession.
