Alstom unveiled its enhanced depot at Edge Hill in Liverpool with a special run from Euston on May 12 using two Virgin 57s, 57301 Scott Tracy and 57312 The Hood, top-and-tailing its overhauled Mk 3 set.rnThe depot has had ￡15m investment to accommodate eight Pendolinos for maintenance every night, an increase in capacity of three sets. Alstom is contracted to make 47 of Virgin's 52 Class 390s available every day.
