The present disclosure provides methods, vaccines, and kits for enhancing an immune response to an antigen in a subject. The method comprises administering to a subject at least one dose of a depot-forming vaccine comprising one or more antigens in a hydrophobic carrier, followed by at least one dose of one or more doses.
