Statesman Rail ran from Peterborough to Aberystwyth on September 10 with 47804 and 47826 as the main tour locos and ERTMS-fitted 97303/304 used west of Shrewsbury. Nenta's September 17 Norwich-Carlisle trip was worked by West Coast Railways using its 47826 and hired 47580 County of Essex. The same day saw Spitfire Tours run another trip to Carlisle using a mix of DRS traction. The train started at Birmingham with 57007/011 in charge as far as Derby where 37194 and 37688 Kingmoor TMD took over. The return from Carlisle was with 66302 and 66420 to Carnforth where the train reversed and 37038/069 worked forward to Birmingham.
