I enjoyed your article on my favourite diesel locomotive, the Hymeks, in Railways Illustrated. I spent over 11 years on the footplate at Bromsgrove from January 1962 to March 1973 with motive power including steam, brand new English Electric Type 3 (Class 37s), Hymeks and back to the 37s in late 1972.
