Northern EMUs being upgraded

Northern's fleet of eight Class 321 and 322 four-car EMUs are to receive a full interior refurbishment and repaint at Wabtec, Doncaster, starting in January. The five Class 322s - 322481-485 which date from 1990 - have not been upgraded since they were transferred to ScotRail in 2005-07 at which point they were re-seated to improve capacity.
