Clayton Equipment Updates

CLAYTON CONTINUES to build new locos and at the moment work is ongoing on examples for both the UK and export markets. Currently, two 4ft 0in gauge 15 ton battery locos, Clayton B4624A and B4624B, are being built for use on the Strathclyde Partnership for Transport's Glasgow Subway. In fact, the customer is Stadler Rail, which has a large contract to modernise the Glasgow Subway, including the supply of a new design of underground cars. The two locos will be completed later this year.
