Evolution of a training solution

One of the long-standing problems facing maintenance-of-way officers has been the education of our work force on the many elements of the FRA 213 Track Safety Standards. Frankly, the old approach of a straight one- or two-day lecture and a test at the very end may have satisfied our consciences, but, as practice has proven out for many of our personnel, it did very little in the way of their being able to apply the standards.
