Ansaldo STS, through its subsidiary Ansaldo STS USA, received a $25.8-million contract from Long Island Rail Roa'd for the LIRR Harold and Point CIL's Interlocking project. This project, part of the LIRR East Side access program, replaces the current vital relay-based interlocking control system with a Microlok vital microprocessor-based system.rnARINC Inc. is deploying video cameras and advanced surveillance software at an additional 14 Maryland Transit Administration passenger rail stations under the second phase of a video surveillance contract partially funded by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
