Funding, pledge to streamline reviews propel Gateway Program forward

Partners in the Gateway Program, which will deliver a set of rail infrastructure projects between Newark, N.J., and New York City, including the construction of the Hudson Tunnel Project, have outlined steps to move the program forward including the allocation of $70 million for preliminary engineering, a federal pledge to streamline environmental reviews and finalization of development corporation structure.
