Aufkletterschutz und Überrollschutz für Gefahrgut-Kesselwagen

Safety of tank wagons for the transport of dangerous goods is on a high level, which is defined by European Legislation RID, but still can be further improved. Innovative safety components such as the anti-climbing device AC04 and the overroll protection frame UE01 have been developed and integrated in a wagon concept which has been named "SAFE TANK CAR~R". These new components minimize the initiation of climbing and the risk of derailment during whole-train-collisions and collisions in bends, and provide an additional protection in overroll accident scenarios. This presentation gives insight into the definition of the scenarios, the development of the components and the extensive investigations by means of FE simulations the complex approved procedure.%Die Sicherheit von Gefahrgut-Transporten auf der Schiene bewegt sich auf hohem Niveau, das durch die europäische Gefahrgutverordnung RID vorgegeben wird. Besonders verantwortungsvolle Chemie-Unternehmen verlangen jedoch nach weiterentwickelten Lösungen für einen noch umfassenderen Schutz von Kesselwagen.
