Years of planning and preparation culminate on December 12 when Swiss Federal Railways introduces its most ambitious timetable yet. Conceived on the same scale as the regular-interval Taktfahrplan launched in 1982, the changes represent the final piece of the Bahn 2000 jigsaw that has been assembled over the last 20 years.
