Five-year growth strategy

A 15% increase in ridership by September 30 2014 is the centrepiece of Amtrak's five-year plan issued on October 29. The national inter-city passenger operator has set a goal of continuing growth whilst working with federal and state government policies to secure more financial support for both conventional passenger services and the development of high speed corridors.
