Monorail contracts signed

Contracts have been signed for the construction of a 3-6 km six-station driverless monorail to serve Riyadh's developing King Abdullah Financial District.rnOn April 14 local construction company Saudi Oger was appointed turnkey contractor by Rayadah Investment Co, the investment arm of the government Public Pension Agency. On May 31 Bombardier announced it would supply electric and mechanical systems including Cityflo 650 automatic train control and vehicles under a US$214m subcontract.
