Dedicated rail infrastructure fund

SWITZERLAND: Proposals to ensure that sufficient funds are available to maintain and expand the national rail network have been submitted to parliament. The Finanzierung und Ausbau der Bahninfrastruktur package has been put together by the Federal Office for Transport following concerns over a gap in funding opening up in 2011-12 that required parliament to approve an extra SFrl40m last December.
