American Model Supply: Denver & Rio Grande Western Short Caboose

On3/On30-Wood cabooses go hand-in-hand with steam railroading. The narrow gauge divisions of the Denver & Rio Grande Western (D&RGW) were steam until the end. This new O-scale model from American Model Supply (AMS) represents the caboose type most often used by the Rio Grande up to the 1950s. AMS has produced a fine model of the prototype, of which 16 examples still exist.
