A Class 90 electric locomotive slammed through a banner at National Express East Anglia's Norwich Crown Point depot on Friday 8 October to mark the opening of its Road One, especially built to handle longer trains on the London Liverpool Street to Norwich service when the winter timetable starts in December.The completion of the depot extension adjacent to the Wensum Curve, outside Norwich station, was two months ahead of schedule. Carried out by Babcock Rail, the project involved installing new track, line side equipment, overhead power structures and buffers.
