The transition period at Sloveniar Railways

摘要

The Slovenian railways (SZ) became independent in 1991 and a member of UIC in 1992. Since then SZ have been experiencing a transition period, i.e. a process of change from a socialist economy system into a market economy system. This process includes different aspects of management, logistics, marketing, organisation, regulation, operation, legislation, standardisation, modernisation etc. The paper discusses a variety of the transition modes.
