Prince's Trust Will Get Into Rail

This week is due to see the first 10 young people complete a six-week taster course in railway engineering and operating skills under a programme organised by Bombardier Transportation and The Prince's Trust.rnThe course is a pilot for a campaign which was formally launched with a fund-raising event at the London Transport Museum on December 2. Bombardier is a Patron of the trust, set up by the Prince of Wales in 1976 to help disadvantaged young people. Director of Fun-draising Julian Burrell said there were around 1.5 million young people in the UK between 16 and 25 who were not in employment, education or training, and the trust is working with around 40 000 a year.
