Eurotunnel Shuttle revenue slow to recover

During Quarter 3 to September 30 2009, Eurotunnel's passenger shuttles as well as Eurostar and rail freight through the Channel Tunnel all recorded increased traffic. The number of cars and coaches carried on the shuttles were both up 8%, Eurostar passengers were up 9%, and there was even a glimmer of hope for rail freight with a 3% rise to 629 trains carrying an average of 473 net tonnes.
