Joint industrial action by RMT, ASLEF and TSSA at National Express East Anglia was suspended after one strike day on Augustrn13, enabling the TOC to run the majority of its services on Augustrn14, reports Tony Miles. The move came after NXEA put forward a revised pay offen.rnDescribing this as 'a major victory', RMT informed its members that the deal had shifted 'from 0.5% with strings to 3.5% with no strings over two years with the potential for a further 0.5% onrntop'. The union was expecting to put the revised offer to a ballot.
