ORR starts RSSB review

As part of a review process that normally takes place every five years, ORR is consulting the industry on the role, governance and funding of the Rail Safety & Standards Board, at the request of RSSB itself. Responses are due by May 7.rnRSSB was established in 2003. Three specific aspects which ORR will be examining are its contribution towards improving health and safety performance, how it can deliver better value for money to users as well as taxpayers, and responding to the influence of European institutions on Britain's rail industry.
