HS2 London impact in Question

There has been much debate about the impact of HS2 on Birmingham, Manchester, the East Midlands and Leeds, as well as more sensitive areas such as the Chilterns, but fewer questions have been raised about how passengers using the high-speed line will be accommodated within Greater London. When the Commons Transport Committee took evidence on June 28 from Daniel Moylan, Deputy Chairman of TfL, Councillor Stephen Greenhalgh, Leader of Hammersmith £t Fulham Council, and John Dickie, Director of Strategy ft Policy at London First, there appeared to be a lack of clarity on such crucial issues as whether London Underground would be able to cope with the extra traffic passing through Euston.
