DfT to review closure process

London TravelWatch has welcomed the decision by DfT announced earlier this month to review the process for withdrawing passenger services and closing stations. In the meantime, ministers have agreed to the withdrawal of the one weekday service operated by Southern between Wandsworth Road and Kensington Olympia, and also the 'rail replacement' bus service operating once a week directly between Ealing Broadway and Wandsworth Road.
