Grand Central seeks fourth Bradford oath

Open-access operator Grand Central has submitted an application for an additional path which will enable it to operate a fourth daily return service between West Yorkshire and London King's Cross from the December 2012 timetable change.The application submitted by Ian Yeowart, Managing Director of Grand Central's parent company Alliance Rail, points out that the current three return services a day have had a difficult introduction, partly due to poor rolling stock availability, but mainly due to very long journey times to the main market of Bradford.
