The 10 Class 350/4 EMUs that FTPE is to operate between Manchester Airport and Scotland will have an internal configuration similar to the TOC's Class 185 Desiro DMU fleet, with 19 first class seats in 2+1 formation and 190 standard class seats, including a small number of tip-up seats, in a 2+2 layout. The first class area will feature the same reclining seats and legroom as the Class 185s.Following research into likely demand on long-distance journeys, FTPE Class 350/4s will have three toilets per set, one fully accessible, rather than the two to be fitted to London Midland Class 350/3s.
