In addition to providing data on overall revenue and costs, ORR's report on industry finance in 2010-11 also breaks down income and expenditure by the nine Network Rail routes. That year predated the creation of a separate Wales Route under NR's ongoing devolution programme.Average farebox income was 12-1p/passenger-km and showed little variation between the routes, with Kent the highest at 13-4p and Scotland the lowest at 10-6p.
