PRM TSI at ScotRail

On October 4 Eversholt Rail announced completion of a C6 overhaul programme for the 22 three-car Class 320 EMUs leased to ScotRail, including accessibility work to achieve PRM TSI compliance. Undertaken by Wabtec in Don-caster at a cost of £7·2m, the programme has included the installation of toilets 'following a review of National Passenger Survey results which showed customers' dissatisfaction with trains that do not have toilets'. New saloon doors have been installed to improve reliability, alongside the renewal of air valves and corrosion repairs.
