First moves to increase capacity

Commitments to provide more standard class seating capacity at First Great Western became reality almost immediately, when on the second day under the new agreement FGW declassified one of the two first class seating areas on each of its 21 Class 166 DMUs to standard class. This has provided an additional 16 standard class seats while retaining first class accommodation at the other end of the set.
