NR performance inconsistent

ORR's Network Rail Monitor for Quarter 4 published on June 7 also provided an assessment of NR performance over 2012-13 as a whole.On the positive side,ORR says NR 'coped very well with the challenges of the 2012 London Olympics,and work with First ScotRail has led to excellent train services in Scotland' (below).NR also 'remains on course overall' to deliver the substantial programme of enhancements during CP4,and has 'beaten its targets to reduce disruption from planned engineering works'.Across the network,passenger-journeys in 2012-13 rose by 4% and the amount of freight moved by around 3％.
