New schedule spreads load

Published alongside the OJEU Prior Information Notice was DtT's schedule for re-letting franchises. This does not include the two 'paused' franchises for which bidding will be restarted. In general, the schedule allows 10 to 11 months between the issue of the ITT and franchise award. The longest period is Great Western, where the challenging nature of the management contract is reflected in a 12-month bidding and evaluation period.
