Leader DAS for Go-Ahead DMUs

The Go-Ahead Group announced on March 20 that it had awarded two contracts to Knorr-Bremse to install the Leader driver advisory system on DMUs operated by London Midland and Southern. A total of 132 Leader cab sets are to be supplied for the 23 Class 170 and 27 Class 172 DMUs at London Midland, and the 16 Class 171s at Southern, with installation and commissioning due to be completed by autumn 2013.
