SBP 'almost silent' on WCML,says Virgin

Virgin Trains has made a robust response to Network Rail's Strategic Business Plan for CP5, published for consultation on January 8 (RB1430 p1). Because of the cancellation of the competition for the replacement 1CWC franchise, the SBP is 'almost silent on any initiatives relating to the West Coast Main Line', according to Virgin.
