Announcing results for the six months to September 30 2015 on November 24, Babcock International Group plc reported total revenue of £729.4m at its Support Services division, up 30% from £559.1m the year before. Operating profit was up 19% at £47.4m from £40.7m. While this 'impressive' revenue growth was driven by the continued strong performance of nuclear decommissioning projects, Babcock reported that other business units at Support Services had delivered 'good results', including Rail which had won new contracts in the first half.
