Announcing results for the half-year to June 30 2015 on July 22, Groupe Eurotunnel reported total revenue of €689m, up 9% from €593m the year before. EB1TDA was up 9% at €252m from €231m. Revenue from the core business of operating the fixed link between the UK and France was up 6% at €443m from €418m. With operating costs up 9°/o at €200m from €183m, including additional security costs of €3m 'following the significant influx of migrants at Calais' (p3), EB1TDA was up 8% at €243m from €235m. Revenue from Eurotunnel shuttle services in the first half of 2015 was €275m, up by 9% from €252m the year before. The number of trucks carried was up 8°/o year on year, with car traffic up 4% and the number of coaches carried down 4%.
