Announcing results for the year to December 31 2014 on March 4, Carillion plc reported total revenue of £2 323.9m at its Support Services segment, including rail, up 1% from £2 300.9m the year before. 'This nevertheless represented underlying growth of around 6%', said Carillion, as the company had replaced £70m of revenue lost in Quarter 1 2013 due to energy services contracts coming to an end 'and there was a £39m headwind due to adverse movements in US and Canadian dollar exchange rates'.
