Rail grows at Stobart

Announcing interim results for the six months to August 31 2016 on October 27, Stobart Group Ltd reported total revenue of £23.9m at its civil engineering business Stobart Rail, up from £20.9m the year before. Of the 2016-17 total, £14.4m was from external customers and £9.5m from within Stobart Group, compared to respective totals of £9.0m and £11.9m the year before. Divisional underlying EBITDA was £1.0m in the six months to August 31 2016. This was up from £0.9m the year before.
