Bombardier and Stadler share orders

Under the replacement East Anglia franchise awarded to Abellio, Bombardier Transportation is to supply 665 Aventra EMU vehicles in 10-car and five-car formations. Valued at £900m and funded by Angel Trains, these will replace the existing fleets of inner and outer-suburban EMUs which include both ex-BR and post-privatisation rolling stock (p1).
