Replying on July 27 to ORR's initial consultation on the Periodic Review for Control Period 6 starting on April 1 2019 (RB1511 p1), DfT emphasised the importance of ORR 'ambitiously' taking the opportunity to improve outcomes for rail users. In the main, the letter is a restatement of emerging government policy following a series of reviews.
