Strathclyde Partnership for Transport has appointed WS Atkins as Client Technical Advisor for the Glasgow Subway fleet replacement and resignalling project (RBI505 p6). Over the five-year contract, work by the consultancy's Transportation team will be managed from its Glasgow office, drawing on expertise from Derby (rolling stock) and Plymouth (signalling and control).
