NR forms West of Leeds Alliance

Network Rail has announced the appointment of Amey, BAM Nut-tall and Arup to an alliance that is to design civils, track, railway systems and electrification work west of Leeds for the upgrade of the Trans-Pennine route between York and Manchester. Options for the Trans-Pennine upgrade, including those developed by the existing East of Leeds Alliance, are due to be submitted to DfT next month.
