Metrolink opens Second City Crossing

Built at a cost of £165m, the Second City Crossing for Manchester Metrolink entered service on February 26, after a short period of final testing and commissioning. The 1.3 km route runs from St Peter's Square, where the Metrolink stop has been comprehensively rebuilt, along Cross Street to Exchange Square and Victoria.
