Metrolink opens Second City Crossing

Manchester's Second City Crossing (2CC) opened to passengers on 26 February when the Rochdale service was extended from the UK city's Exchange Square to St Peter's Square and on to East Didsbury. At the same time the airport service was extended one stop to Deansgate-Castlefield. It is expected that this service will continue to Victoria later in the year when signalling works are completed.
