The deadline for initial submissions to the independent Hansford Review of contestability and third-party infrastructure investment on the national railway (RBI 524 p2) has been extended to February 14. Announcing the extension, Review Chairman Professor Peter Hansford expressed 'delight' at the level of response received to date from the industry and other interested parties. However, more time was being provided for submissions.
