Safety Testing of UV-Curing Equipment for the Auto Refinish Industry

Using the described procedures, BGIA's results of the radiation measurements for 250-, 450- and 900-watt lights tested were all below the maximum exposure values set by the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection. However, it is recommended that all users of UV-curing equipment wear protective products while using these systems.
